    Yet another one of your many talents! I personally kill everything that I touch! ~LOL! I definitely didn't inherit that 'green thumb' gene! : ) Simply beautiful!

      Aww, TY so much! Half the battle is figuring out what’s most hearty. Believe me, I’ve killed many a plants in the past, LOL!! There are some beautiful plants but some are extremely delicate and some are quite the opposite. It’s just figuring out what will make it in your area, and what won’t. I have planted lots of plants and some did great and some did not. When stuff didn’t do well, I just tried planting something else in its place and eventually I had lots of good plants and flowers! Trial and error for sure!

So cool! Looks like a young buck with small antlers is teaching this even younger buck with no antlers how to fight! We have seen the young buck with antlers on previous occasions alone and the younger buck is still wandering around with his mother and the two are typically alone. Building the New Hen Condo

In the last few weeks, I have made several changes for my hens. Prior to this, I made the painstaking decision to re-home my two female ducks to a duck farm. I miss them terribly, as well as the duck eggs, but I don't miss the added work as they certainly are very messy creatures who constantly need lots and lots of water! I had them living with my hens, and they fortunately always got along with one another. But I think my hens are happier now, too.  I do love projects like this, especially anything involving carpentry!  Here is the building of the new hen condo, my favorite project to date!!!  The framing, with PVC sheet for the floor. I love this stuff! So easy to clean and poop does not get absorbed into the floor like a wooden floor does. It will last for a very long time too! Crochet Update

My blanket is coming along slowly but surely, at about one month into it. I ran out of yarn and had to purchase more. I was able to purchase the same brand and color; however, I was not able to get a hold of the same lot for an exact match. There is more blue in the new yarn. I bought the yarn that I started with nearly five years ago. But I think I can still make it work and look alright. I’m going run the same numbers of rows on each end so it will look as though it was intended to change a little on each end. I also plan to crochet a nice border around it with a little bit of light blue yarn incorporated into it.  Here’s the latest, as of December 31. It is currently slightly longer than it is wide. It is about 45 inches long currently. I am guessing it will be about 75-80 inches long when I start the border.  Considering I purchased the same brand and color recently, it is a quite a bit different than the original yarn I purchased about five years ago! I doubt the old yarn...
