New Weathervane

Image
My new weathervane came in today! It was so easy to assemble and I love it! I have always wanted one, although I always imagined it on top of a big barn on a farm, I’m very pleased to have it in one of my gardens out front!  I found this on Amazon: E-Z VANE *I highlighted my favorite features, below!  EZ Vane Steel USA Flag Weathervane 80” Height, Includes Metal Garden Mount, Wind Cups & Brackets | Hand-Crafted and Family-Owned, Made in The USA with Triple Powder Coating , Limited Video Here are photos!  I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to for this purchase! I gave 5 stars for both seller and product reviews. I was limited in characters for the seller review but was unlimited for the product review. I also included a couple of photos with the product review.  Seller Review :  I have always wanted a weathervane and I’m so glad I found this one! The quality of this weathervane is amazing! Hard to find excellent workmanship like this these days! I am totally impressed! Shipped

Love My Motorcycle!

A couple of weeks ago I pulled my motorcycle out of the shed to get it ready for the season! It sure was filthy! I gave it a good wash and it looks so much better now! Not bad for a 15 year old bike! It’s a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1100! Despite his age, Ole Red still looks pretty good! And still runs good too! He is now in the shop for an oil change and tune up, as well as anything else my repair guy finds wrong. He’ll check it thoroughly to ensure it’s running well in order to reduce the risk of breaking down, as well as running safe, such as checking the break system to be sure none of the components are worn.  But before I dropped it off at the shop, I did manage to squeeze in a good day of riding after cleaning it up! I did over 100 miles that day! It was awesome!  AND, Hubby bought me some new Cobra slabs cut exhaust pipes for my repair guy to install! A few adjustments will need to be made to the carburetors and air system with these new pipes added. They will be louder than my stock

New Garden Areas!

I now have a couple of new garden areas. This one is part of our front yard.  And this one is out front along our very long driveway, about 3/4’s of the way down our driveway leading to our house. In this photo you can see about 1/4 of the driveway leading to our house.  The first area is out in the front yard and resulted from Hubby trimming back a bunch of thick brush! After he finished trimming the area, I transported the downed brush into the woods and added it to an existing brush pile. I then trimmed all of the stubs that were left behind and pulled out as many roots and root systems as possible! There were a few small dead trees that I cut down. I wasn’t able to pull out the stumps with roots so I used my battery-operated Ryobi chain saw to trim the stumps slightly below ground level.  I love my Ryobi chain saw! When I purchased it I decided to get the larger of the two chain saws that Ryobi has available. I also purchased an extra battery so we would have two of them. My Hubby
