Coverage with my four WiFi cams! Three are stationary but one is a pan tilt WiFi cam located inside the hen condo!  I can’t hear anything in the three standard WiFi cams but can hear sounds on the WiFi pan tilt cam in the hen condo! So adding this cam allows me to hear what’s going on out there, not just inside the hen condo, but out in the run area, too!  Turn up the volume on this next video so you can hear one of my hens complaining about something! LOL!!  And the ability to check in on all of my gals inside the hen condo with the WiFi pan tilt cam is amazing!

Today I replaced the WiFi cam inside the hen condo with a pan tilt WiFi  cam! It works awesome too!! The old cam had only one full view and I couldn’t really see all of my gals. The cam was intended more for open areas, and not a confined area. I could zoom in but lacked the ability to zoom out any further to see all of my hens. And, it had to be mounted to one corner of the hen condo too. So seeing the hens on the far end was very fuzzy. I was able to mount the pan tilt cam in the middle of the long wall and now I can move it around to see all of them! My gals appear to be sleeping well! Love my WiFi cam! But I can’t see all 14 of them very well. One is barely visible, on the upper right. You can just barely see part of her body. But the rest are visible at least. I have a pan tilt WiFi cam coming! Supposed to be here tomorrow! Can’t wait to install it! I think this will work better inside the hen condo. I go down every night to be sure all 14 are in for the night since I can’t clearly see them all. So hoping the pan tilt WiFi cam will allow me to see them all. Fingers crossed! I will move this cam over by the feeding station so I can get another view of the run, in addition to the other 2 cams/views of the run.  So here is the pan tilt WiFi cane that is in its way! Just finished cleaning up the hen condo! Just some video shots from my WiFi cam! LOL! 

With my new WiFi camera monitoring capability, I discovered that my heat lamp wakes my hens up when it turns on. I have it set to turn on if the temperature reaches 31 degrees or less. I was once told that the red heat lamp allows them to sleep. But, I now have proof to the contrary! Just a couple of videos here that were captured within minutes of the heat lamp turning on. Within an hour they were all out and about in the dark run area, from around 1 am and on. Not good. So I ordered a ceramic heat lamp bulb, which doesn’t emit light. It won’t arrive until next Monday, 4 days from now, so I will be turning off my heat lamp for now. Fortunately it’s not that cold out. Dropped to 26 degrees last night but we’re headed for a slight wam up the next few days. Glad I discovered this before we reach temperatures below 20!
