Final Nor’easter Update!

We spent most of the morning cleaning up from the storm. Not sure what the final snow tally is due to drifting. Guessing 20 inches or so? Fortunately the temperature stayed in the teens yesterday and in the single digits all night, which kept the snow light and fluffy! If it had been in the upper 20’s to low 30’s, we would have had quite the mess and major power outages! Final pics! Nice and sunny out today! 18 degrees at this time!

These boots are just under 15 inches tall! And the base of snow below the boot is about 3-4 inches thick!

Hubby used the snowblower to make trails throughout the yard to the sheds, chicken coop, etc.! Have had this baby for about 20 years now! When we lived in NH, it got a lot of heavy use on our long driveway! It got some heavy use today for sure! Still going strong!

Chicken coop is dug out inside and out! My gals are much happier now!

And the trails throughout the yard!

My hens are pretty happy now! Almost back to normal!

  1. That's a lot of work! You sure had a lot of snow! Quite the contrast to Texas where it's 68 degrees today! Joe and Kelly are out shooting their new guns that they purchased yesterday!
