Did a lot of work today widening and cleaning up the trails to accommodate the Polaris! Not yet done but made huge progress!

So cool! Looks like a young buck with small antlers is teaching this even younger buck with no antlers how to fight! We have seen the young buck with antlers on previous occasions alone and the younger buck is still wandering around with his mother and the two are typically alone. Looks like all 3 might have come together!  Here are mom and younger buck without antlers!  And the young buck with antlers!

New Additional WiFi Cam!

Today I replaced the WiFi cam inside the hen condo with a pan tilt WiFi  cam! It works awesome too!! The old cam had only one full view and I couldn’t really see all of my gals. The cam was intended more for open areas, and not a confined area. I could zoom in but lacked the ability to zoom out any further to see all of my hens. And, it had to be mounted to one corner of the hen condo too. So seeing the hens on the far end was very fuzzy. I was able to mount the pan tilt cam in the middle of the long wall and now I can move it around to see all of them! It’s a nasty night with high winds and rain with some downpours at times, but at least it’s warm for an early December night in New England, around 50 degrees!  In the video, below, you can see that the wind is ruffling some feathers here and there through the open windows, but not badly, and it doesn’t appear to bother them either!
